The film follows a group of young gang members with shaved heads and hoodies. The gang leader Vincent appears to be cool at first obtaining the respect of the remaining members of the group. As the film progresses we realise he is a psychopath, and we watch the members of the gang witness Vincent's thirst for inflicting pain and eventually murder. At this point the young protagonist of the film, Jonny who has always been picked on by the bigger gang members, contradicts his image as the 'runt', and attempts to break away from the life he has always known with Vincent who has shown favoratism towards him, and tries to find justice for Vincent's crimes. We watch as Jonny struggles to betray Vincent, the closest thing he has to a brother, and ends with Vincent's inevitable breakdown and death in a shoot up between his gang and the police. Only as Vincent is dying in Jonny's arms, does Vincent realise Jonny's betrayal.
